Vermeer Midwest was founded in 1971 by Junior & Bev Kool under the name Vermeer of Central IL. The first location was in Eureka, IL. In 1976, they built a large facility just outside of Eureka and Steve, Junior’s middle son, took leadership of this division.

In 2010, the dealership was moved to Goodfield, Illinois to be right off the interstate. This location serves at the headquarters for Vermeer Midwest.
