WHAT IS IT?
The STCP is a three-tiered testing process. The three levels of program certification are Certified Technician, Advanced Certified Technician and Master Certified Technician. Individual technicians achieve certifications by successfully passing certification tests; the factory tracks the technician’s progress and awards certifications.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE CERTIFICATION?
- Increase the performance of individual dealer service technicians.
- Raise the overall efficiency, knowledge and skill levels
- Recognize top-performing Vermeer Midwest technicians
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES IN EACH CERTIFICATION?
Certified Technicians
- Online training course
- Instructor-led training
- Completion of the certification test
Advanced Certified Technicians
- Completion and passing of two segment track tests
Master Certified Technicians
- Completion and passing of 3 segment track tests
- Upon test completion, tech will attend the week long hands-on training even in Pella, IA
- After passing both, the tech will be recognized as a Vermeer Master Certified Technician
